Implementation
To satisfy client requirements, consulting project managers will interview all participants involved in the management and operation of communications interoperability and develop a client unique implementation or preparedness plan for daily and emergency incidents. The Preparedness cycle for prevention, protection, response, and recovery missions includes planning, staffing and organizing, equipping, training and exercise, evaluation and improvement. If required, the plan will be National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliant for all incidents to automatically connect organizations, agencies, facilities, complexes and groups from:
- Homeland Security
- Terrorism Preparedness
- Fire Department, Rescue, EMS Services
- Law Enforcement Agencies
- Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat)
- Educational and School Institutions
- Special Operations, Technical Response
- Research, Health Care Providers
- Hospital, Medical
- Emergency Management Departments
- Governmental Agencies and Offices
- Corporate, Business, Commercial
- Industrial and Military
The examples above shows these incidents can range from natural or manmade disasters to common events such as school sports. Having and maintaining instant interoperability is key, anytime and every time, no matter the scale or complexity of the incident. For these incidents, the system automatically connects participating agencies involved, even in incidents like a tornado, which may have multiple tiers of work groups. This will ensure that for complex incidents, span of control is established, contained and maintained within specific boundary requirements, thereby ensuring optimum response and recovery.
Gateways placed at selected client locations and connected to a hosted platform are part of the setup portion of the implementation service and remain unicomconnect™ equipment. |
